When i turn on my computer my wallpaper shows up but when my icons show up my wallpaper goes away?

I can't change the wall paper because the setting slide won't work.I have ben told to download several different sptwear removers and that didn't work now I have security toolbar 7.1 and can't get rid of it.Is there anyone out there that can really help

after running lavasoft adware and spybot also use windows defenders and if you want free protection try aol security. Its free and it works great. Also install tuneup utilities 2007 make sure all the definitions are updated for this programs. Good Luck
Assuming you used Adaware and Spybot and Avast, there really is nothing else to do other than wipe out the computer. Then get a FireFox or Safari browser as it will stop the spyware and junk.
