I have XP and either a setting in Xp or the system optimiser of Norton Internet Security 2007 suddennly has disabled the menu bar like file and edit completly so it makes folders hard work as i cant go back. Can anybody tell me how to put them back on

open the 'my computer' window and then click on the 'F11' key at the top of your keyboard. this should bring your menu toolbar (file and edit menus) back.
let us know if not and i'll try and work it out for you some other way.
