What is a good Internet security program?

I have very important documents, and i constantly am getting hacked, whether its my email or my computer itself.

Any suggestions? money is not a problem.

I would suggest you invest in a version of McAfee that includes total protection (antivirus, firewall, antispyware, etc) and ensure it is properly configured and kept completely up to date.

You will also want to ensure that windows updates are completely current and that it is configured to automatically download and install updates.

I strongly doubt you are being "hacked". It is far more likely that you are being infected with malware.

If your email accounts have been compromised then you should secure them after you've installed proper security and scanned for and removed all threats. Changing a password on an infected system only lets the criminals know your new password.

I would also suggest you NOT save passwords within your browser any more.

If you have important documents you may also want to invest in an encryption program like PGP.

Norton AntiVirus... the full package comes with antivirus, spyware, adware and internet security... i believe $49.99 is the cheapest... but if u want a GOOD internet security program i suggest not getting a free one... they work but can be Spyware themselves or have backdoors in them for spyware to use...
I was told by someone who works on computers that AVG the free edition is just as good as Norton Anti Virus if not better. I have been using it for years and have never had a problem!
