I'd like to know what virus protection comes with my computer. How can I find out?

I have a Dell Dimension E510 that I purchased in March. It says security suite pre-installed - no security subscription. Then I got Verison DSL and I'm not sure if that has automatic security installed. The McAfee keep coming up wanting me to register and subscribe to it but I don't want to, it's so annoying.

you do have macafee so there is an anti virus program on your computer but you need to register to get up to date virus information so your computer can detect it.

wass up dj, seems like the pre installed security subcription has Expired, which is mostly the case with new PC's from Dell. . they only come with a Trail version of security. . .so ur only options are:

download free anti-virus software like http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1, with AD ware of course. or just get a good deal @ staples with a rebate. .
