See if this works:

1. Make sure your laptop has an active wireless internet connection.

2. Attach your two cables like this:

2a. One cable from your laptop's Ethernet port

2b. One cable from your Xbox 360's Ethernet port

3. Using Windows Vista (it's similar if you have XP), open Control Panel --%26gt; Network Connections. You should see an Unidentified Network (the Xbox 360) and a Wireless Network Connection (your wireless router), both of which are connected.

4. Bridge the two connections by selecting them both, right-clicking on one, and clicking Bridge Connections.

5. Windows will create a network bridge that will allow your 360 to use your laptop's wireless connection.

6. Test your connection from the System tab --%26gt; Network settings in your 360.

7. If this doesn't work, select the "Restore to Factory Defaults" from the System --%26gt; Network settings tab; this will remove previous settings and should allow for your new network to work.

8. Test your connection again and you should be on
