I keep getting pop-ups saying that my computer is infected....?

....i think its from windows, and it wants me to dowload free softwear to fix the problem? i have macafee security and phishing protection, and have never had a problem in the past. these security facilities haven't detected a threat so wuld should i do? is it a real threat or not? thanx guys.x

Its a fake. Once you download it the program starts to eat away at windows and your dos on your computer. Dont download it and if you press back or close and it comes back turn off your computer and then turn it back on

it's spam, as long you have an antivirus software running and you check that you should be fine
